My Walgreens TRIP!

I did a run to Wags today, Bought the household five tubes of Colgate, six eyeshadows, and four boxes of Chips ahoy and a chocolate caramel christmas tree!

My trip to Menards this Morning! :)

Menards has a green bag you can buy this week for .98! Then everything you can fit in it is 15% off. Their Chicago Tribunes are $1.00. Get your Q inserts for the week. There are 5 inserts in this weeks paper! Well they have the Glade Candle tins on clearance for $1.40. The candles have a $1.50 off of one Q inside the tins. I bought eight candles and five Newspapers and a bag and my oop was $3.80!

Some of you may know me and some of you may not, My name is Chickie. I love the rush of saving bucks at the grocery store. I am setting up this blog to share with you on how to do the same.

Let me just share with you my very first trip grocery shopping with coupons. At that time I thought I did absolutely fabulous! I had picked up a cartful and a half of groceries including and not limited to two cases of soda, meat, cereal, you name it I probably had it in the carts. I even let my daughter get a big bouncy ball! Well the grand total was $262.00 and after coupons and prefered card savings I walked out paying only $109.00!

Well since then I have tapped into a coupon underground and have learn the art of couponing! My savings have become much more substantial!!
